Bonn Wandeln:Shaping local transformation and sustainability
The seminar supports Bonn's goal of climate neutrality by 2035 by bringing together key stakeholders from civil society, city administration and academia on local transformation issues such as flood protection. The aim is to reach concrete agreements on the next steps and to identify effective forms of cooperation for the future. The sessions will take place at the Bonn Science Shop, Reuterstraße 157 in 53113 Bonn and will consist of eight compulsory sessions and independent work in small groups.

Learning objectives and areas of experience in the service learning seminar
- Jointly develop and implement a public event on local transformation in terms of content, process, methods and application.
- To develop specific transformation topics in Bonn and to identify and address important target groups.
- To be able to analyse and reflect on the conditions for the success of social change, both conceptually and in specific cases.
- Understand concepts of individually and collectively required transformation competencies and be able to apply them in practice.
- Experience and reflect on your own transformation skills and attitudes.
The workload will be agreed individually with the students participating in the seminar.
