Highlights of individual projects, current initiatives and developments

City Climate Change is the project of WILA Bonn, the University of Bonn and the City of Bonn, in which committed students contribute to the climate-neutral and biodiverse design of the city of Bonn.

The students of the seminar,  under the guidance of Dr John Seidler, have once again produced short informative videos in collaboration with the NRW Refugee Council.

The results of the project seminar have been published, in which students developed a navigable campus map of the university with accessible routes.

The official YouTube channel has been launched. On the channel you can see the different project results of the media seminars.

The project results of the seminar Media Practice Film/Video" under the direction of Dr John Seidler have now been published. 

"Live and experience sustainability!" - This was the motto of the first university-wide Sustainability Day, which took place on the 12th of May on the campus in Bonn-Poppelsdorf.

The University Didactics Workshop on Service Learning was held on the 26th of November 2021.

On the 5th and 6th of October 2021 students of the Agricultural and Nutritional Research seminar presented their project "Das interessiert uns die Bohne" (We don't give a damn about the bean).

Students have looked into the question of what people from Bonn actually eat and what their eco-conscious diet might look like.

The local newspaper General-Anzeiger Bonn reported on the MitSprache module in its edition of the 25th of May 2021.

The Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn is now part of the university network "Education through Responsibility".
