Advanced training workshop on university didactics

"Service Learning" combines university teaching with social commitment. Students work on concrete tasks from the civil society environment in practical projects and use university teaching content in a problem-oriented way. Service learning can be used in any degree programme and is also intended to promote the educational and personal development of students while at the same time integrating social engagement into teaching. The one-day workshop provides an action-oriented introduction to the concept of "Service Learning" and its implementation in university teaching. The speaker will be Mr Karsten Altenschmidt.
